Cheese & Garlic Bites
| 1 cup wheat flour 1 cup grated cheddar cheese 1 tablespoon garlic powder (not garlic salt!) |
1 tablespoon soft butter or margarine 1/2 cup milk |
- Mix flour & cheese together in a bowl
- Add garlic powder and softened butter
- Make a well in the flour mixture and gradually stir milk until you form a stiff dough. You may not need all of the milk.
- Knead dough on a floured surface, 3 – 4 minutes, until dough sticks together and is easy to work with.
- With a rolling pin, roll dough to between ¼ and ½ inch thickness.
- Cut with biscuit cutter and place on ungreased cookies sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees
- Let cool in oven with door slightly open until cookies are cold and firm
- Refridgerate to keep them fresh
